I am raising funds for my dog, Gracie, to help pay off her medical care credit. As many of you know, Gracie has been chronically sick over the past 2.5 years. To date, her vet is still working diligently to get her well. Gracie’s symptoms present as vomiting, high fever, diarrhea, and no appetite that can last for days, causing her to lose a great deal of weight every 4-5 months. Every time an episode occurs, a full blood panel is ordered, and the one thing that has been consistent is her high white blood count. From the first episode of them thinking it was her pancreas to possible Addison's disease testing, as she was a candidate, to the current inflammatory bowel disease. Prescription diet, numerous medications, steroids, X-rays, ultrasound, and still we move forward.

Gracie has good days and bad days, but the episodes are tough. Insurance will not cover anything as they say it’s pre-existing and the symptoms remain the same.
