Julie joined the TitleSmart team in the fall of 2015. In her short time as a Smartie, she has become an essential team member. She is always kind, and willing to help out whenever needed. Now it is time for us to help Julie. Julie became ill at the beginning of January. What seemed to be a common cold, quickly turned into pneumonia. She was hospitalized and after a few days was put into a medically induced coma. She was transferred to an ICU Unit at the University of Minnesota after the first week of being in the coma. After a couple of weeks, doctors began to wake her up from the sedation. It took five days to get her to be slightly coherent, where she is moving her eyes around and blinking, although she is still on breathing machines. The goal would be that as her lungs heal, to slowly begin weaning her off the breathing machines and back to a state of recovery.
During this time, Julie has been unable to work, and the more time she spends in the hospital, means more medical expenses. We started this page to help offset some of those bills. Anything that you can contribute will help make a positive impact on Julie and her family.
Many thanks!
