Please help with Lucky's Surgery

Hi, our names are Katie Wilson & Adam Rady, you may know us from our work in the entertainment & gaming industry, but most of you know our adorable pup, Lucky.

Last week Lucky tore her ACL (CCL in doggos), and is in need of a "TPLO," which is a "surgical procedure used to treat cranial (or anterior) cruciate ligament rupture in the knee joints of dogs."

While prepping her for surgery, they happened to find a nodule in her neck causing an increase of calcium in her body, which is usually a sign of cancer. They stopped the surgery and performed a biopsy to test the nodule. 5 days later they discovered it was benign (thankfully), but it's recommended that they remove it while they do the knee surgery so that it won't become cancerous or cause any problems down the road, and is much more cost effective to do both at the same time.

This injury has left Lucky without the ability to put any weight on her back leg, so she has been hobbling around on only three legs for over a week. For those who know our Duck, know that she is SUCH an active dog. Playing is her very favorite thing in this world, so not having use of one leg has been absolutely devastating to watch. Especially because she still wants to play but doesn't understand why her leg won't work.

With this surgery, Lucky will regain FULL use of her leg and after a two month period of recovery, will be back to running, jumping, and playing again.

The surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb 27th where she will receive the surgery and be hospitalized for 3-4 days.

We're doing this fundraiser to help with Lucky's vet bills. This is quite an expensive surgery, that frankly, we just can't afford on our own. Additionally there have been extra costs of prepping our home for her 2 month+ recovery which includes, kennels, gates, harnesses, medication, and more.

Katie has raised Lucky since she was just 6 weeks old and will do anything for her, especially since this surgery will successfully restore her mobility and allow to her to continue to play.

As you can imagine, getting hit with this big of an expense has been incredibly difficult on us and humbly ask if you're able to donate to help our pup, we would be forever grateful.
