My father, Mark Galusha, passed away late last week, following a late-stage cancer diagnosis he had received several weeks prior.

Throughout his life, he exhibited so much selflessness, especially through troubling times, such as the sudden and tragic passing of my sister, or the cancer treatment my mother had undergone prior to her death four years ago. His efforts were constantly focused on ensuring the well-being of others through these events, often putting himself last to lift others up.

As his son, I'm devastated to lose the man whom I've leaned on for so long, but I can proudly say that he fought with every bit of strength until he could no longer, and is now at peace having reunited with the rest of our family.

His request to be cremated will be honored, and any small amount able to be contributed would be of great help in allowing us to do so smoothly and without obstacle.
