Destiny’s funeral expenses

Donation protected

On Thursday November 10th, at 10:28pm Destiny was involved in a very serious car accident. She was on her way to work and for an unknown reason, left the roadway and hit a power pole. She was ejected from the vehicle and life flighted to Huntsville. When she arrived at Huntsville she went into cardiac arrest and was without a pulse for 11 minutes. She suffered broken ribs, a lacerated spleen, multiple lacerations to the back of her head, and her front teeth were knocked out. Both of her lungs collapsed and her brain started swelling. The prognosis was grim from the beginning but her family and friends didn’t give up on her. Destiny’s brain swelling would not stay down and it was an uphill and downhill roller coaster with every minute that passed. After fighting for her life for 4 long days, God called Destiny home on Monday November 14th at 12:54pm. She wished to be an organ donor. Her organs have the potential to save 8 lives. Destiny leaves behind several friends and family that will miss her dearly but most importantly her son, DJ. Unfortunately Destiny’s life insurance benefits were not active at the time of the accident so our family is having to pay for everything out of pocket. We appreciate every donation we are able receive. We ask for continued prayers for strength for family to get through this difficult time. Memorial service arrangements are still being made at this time and will be announced soon.
