Shaun

Bardykes are extremely sad to announce that our goalkeeper Shaun McNamara has sadly passed away at young age of 23, after being taken seriously ill week past Sunday.

Even though Shaun was only at the club for a short period, he settled in like furniture, bonded with his new teammates, trained and played well, enjoyed going fishing with some of the boys and the usual social side of amateur football.

Shaun wasn't just a player, he was also a son, fiancé and most importantly a dad, as such we are raising funds to help support his young family at this difficult time of need.

Any donation big or small provides his family some comfort they thoroughly deserve.

Shaun will be forever in our thoughts and will always remain part of the Bardykes Rovers family ❤️
