Expenses after car accident

My most sincere gratitude to everyone that has already reached out with an overwhelming amount of messages of love and support. God is so good and that my fiancé survived this horrific car accident on Wednesday night commuting back from work. I am thankful for the people that called 911, first responders and most importantly for the two men that jumped in to help pull him out of car while it was already in flames. He was taken to the ER, later transported to Inova Trauma Center and now being treated at MedStar Burn Center in D.C.

He suffered some 2nd and 3rd degree burns, fractures and will require surgery this upcoming week. Considering how bad the accident was, you can say his injuries are minor compared to how badly things could’ve ended. I am glad that no one else was hurt, including the men who came to his rescue. I ask that you please continue to pray for his recovery.

Going against his will, I am starting this fund. He’s already beyond grateful to be alive and doesn’t want me to trouble anyone. I know how huge it could be, if he didn’t have the financial stress of all the aftermath expenses this will leave us. His Nissan Armada was totaled, unfortunately it will not be replaced because it was only under liability coverage. His cell phone was burned in the accident and because he had just started a new job he has no medical insurance. He has worked as an electrician for many years but when our second son was born he stepped up and made the choice of giving up his career and started working a part time job and help care for the boys. He’ll need to focus on his recovery before he can resume work and get income again. This will be a long road for our family to financially recover if not with help of others. Anything that is contributed will help tremendously.
