Cancer stage 4 Rob needs your help!

As a concerned and loving Mother, I come to all of you on behalf of my son Robert. Many of you know has been fighting rectal cancer most of his adult life. His symptoms began in 2010 when he was just 23 years old, followed by his misdiagnosis in 2012, and then the diagnosis of rectal cancer in 2014 ending up in the hospital with a blood level of 4 blood clots in both legs and both lungs. The prognosis from the doctors was grim to say the least, offering us no hope. He spent the next 2 ½ months in the hospital had 10 blood transfusions. The Doctors insisted on a surgery to insert a mesh net for the clots and a colostomy bag as his tumor was the size of a baby's head in his colon. Rob has always been a big healthy guy at 6 ft tall but when he was admitted into the hospital weighed a mere 120 lbs, he had lost about 90 lbs in about 9 months. The doctors said there was no way he would live up to 12 more months at the most. Well in 2015 his pet scan showed no cancer and the tumor gone. He proved them all wrong and they were shocked. One year later he started getting very sick again after the passing of his grandmother that he was very close to and spent a couple years taking care of her when she was not well, until 2014 when he had to go to the Hospital.  He ended back in the hospital May of 2016 with a very bad Infection from the necrotic cells left over from the dead tumor in his pelvis. The infections have been constant and continue to return. Went to a different hospital for treatments, and they said the same thing, gave us no hope and said there was nothing they could do. A couple weeks later we went to yet another hospital 2 hours away and the head surgeon there also said there was nothing they could do and told my son to “go home and prepare to die”

Currently Rob is being treated for yet another infection. We need to get his Immune system kicked into high gear to fight off the infections so he can be healthy again. He has been told 3 times in the last 2 years to go home and call Hospice. For him that is just not an option, he is fighter, and is set on winning this battle. He has not been fighting this hard and long to give up now. We have come in contact with some wonderful people that are able to help with a hybrid approach that involves medical nutrition with Beta Glucans, Selenium, and other natural approaches that have been effective for many other people. The problem is that NONE of this is covered by our insurance. Along with the new protocol, we also need to make sure Rob has the right food to build support his immune system. During all this, I have lost my job, my husband has now had 4 heart attacks, and is also currently out of work. It is hard to ask for help, but here I am asking for help for my son. He is my only child and the light of my life. If you can please find it in your heart to help us it would be greatly appreciated and remembered forever. He also needs to get to doctor appointments, and has other expenses. All donations will go 100% towards saving his life. Whatever you can do will help a great deal. Thank you in advance. Rob’s Mom…. xoxo
