My Best Friend Was Left for Dead; Please Help Save Him

Hi, my name is Mari. My beloved cat, Krusty, isn’t just a pet; he’s my family, my heart, and my world.

Three years ago, when I was just 15, walking home from school, I found him in a dumpster as a tiny, feral kitten. He was scared of people, unsure of the world, but with patience and love, he transformed into the sweetest, most affectionate cat. He adores kids, cuddles with you when you're sad, naps beside you when you’re tired, and even eats dinner next to me in his little bowl. He has been my constant companion through everything, and I can’t imagine life without him.

But now, he needs life-saving medical care.

A speeding car hit him and didn’t stop. His back leg is shattered beyond repair; the vet said it will have to be amputated. Worse, the impact broke his urethra, and his survival depends on urgent medical treatment before we can even begin to discuss the surgery.

I love this cat more than words can express, but as a full-time college student, I can’t afford the overwhelming cost of his medical care alone. I refuse to let money be the reason I lose him. He is so young, so full of life, and deserves a fighting chance.
