Hey y'all, my name is Shelby L. Johnson. I'm using Go Fund me so I can get my car repaired after I wrecked it on my way to teach a dance class on December 17th. As I was coming off an exit ramp the car lost traction on the slick roads and the car swerved into a Ground wire on a telephone pole. The car climbed up the wire, came to a balance, but then rolled off of the wire and onto it's roof. I was able to get out of the car with no serious injuries. My car insurance can't pay for it and repairs come out to around 3000 dollars. I need my car to work my day job at 24 Hour Fitness as a service representative but most important my car is my main source of travel as I'm aspiring to be a Professional Lindy Hop Instructor,  and in January I'm teaching my first full month of classes.

I use my car to drive to competitions in other cities and states. These events allow me to really get exposed to more people and give me more opportunities to teach. I'm grateful that I'm not seriously injured and that my car still runs, but I need help to pay for this car to be repaired. Any amount that you donate is a total blessing and I'll appreciate this with all my heart.
