Take my Dad home. Ayuda llevar mi padre a casa.

Hello, my name is Raquel and my family and I are raising money to take my father home.

I never thought that 3 months after my baby sister’s wedding we would be making arrangements to bury my father. I can’t even begin to describe the way our lives have been shaken since getting his diagnosis not even 2 months ago. Despite those very concerning news I couldn’t help but feel so grateful that he was here in the Pacific NW with us. God truly works in mysterious ways.

2 yrs ago my dad left his home and moved almost 2000 miles away to be with us. We have been able to make beautiful memories and he would not have had it any other way but I would be lying if I said he wasn’t homesick every now and then.

With that being said, we need help to cover funeral costs and to make a way to put my dad to rest in his home, next to his beloved mother and brother. We are a family of 13 and we would all love to be able to be there with the rest of our family.

Hola, me llamo Raquel y mi familia y yo estamos recaudando dinero para llevar a mi padre a casa.

Nunca pensé que 3 meses después de la boda de mi hermanita haríamos los arreglos para enterrar a mi padre. Ni siquiera puedo empezar a describir la forma en que nuestras vidas se ha sacudido desde que se le dio el diagnóstico hace ni siquiera 2 meses. A pesar de esas noticias tan preocupantes, no pude evitar sentirme tan agradecida de que estuviera aquí en el Pacífico Noroeste con nosotros. Dios realmente trabaja de maneras misteriosas.

Hace 2 años, mi padre salió de su casa y se mudó a casi 2000 millas de distancia para estar con nosotros. Hemos sido capaces de hacer hermosos recuerdos y él no lo habría tenido de otra manera, pero yo estaría mintiendo si dijera que no tenía nostalgia de hogar de vez en cuando.

Dicho esto, necesitamos ayuda para cubrir los gastos del funeral y tener la oportunidad de poner a mi padre a descansar en su pueblo, junto a su amada madre y hermano. Somos una familia de 13 y a todos nos encantaría poder estar allí con el resto de nuestra familia.
