Nadine's Medical Fund

My wife, Nadine Washington, is recovering from a traumatic brain injury she suffered while she was undergoing brain surgery to repair an anurism. The doctor's who were performing the surgery failed to notice that she was bleeding in her brain until after the first operation. As a result she had to go back on the operating table to stop the bleed and remove the blood that had accumulated. Unfortunately the brain damage she suffered has left her unable to walk and talk. She has just come out of a comma and is slowly beginning to recover the use of her hands, legs and arms but will require long term care for an unknown time period. In the meantime our health insurance has capped and the hospital that caused this problem has refused to pay anything to help with her care. Thankfully we have been able to qualify for Medical but our share of cost has added an additional $1500 per month to our expenses which we cannot afford at this time. We're trying to raise at least $10,000 to cover the cost of her care for the next 6 months. This should give us the time our family needs to rearrange our finances to pay for the ongoing long term care she will need. Thank you for your understanding and support.
