I found this dog on my porch with nothing but a leash folded next to him. Someone left him for us, most likely knowing that my wife and I rescue animals. The dog is a male, not neutered. He looks like he was a fighting dog—maybe even a bait dog. He has many superficial wounds, both old and new. He is mostly blind, if not completely blind. We have him in a room in our house right now and we’re taking care of him. He’s extremely sweet and already very loving. I’m raising money to be able to take him to the vet. I believe his ears may be infected, and he may have an infected scrotum. He’ll need antibiotics, flea medication, and a full work up. I anticipate he may have other issues that will need addressed as well. My wife and I just had a baby and we have 10 pets of our own, and cannot pay for all his vet care on our own.
