In Memory of Melissa

Miss Melissa, or Miss Missa, as she was dearly known in our school family, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, June 19.
While we mourn this tragic loss, we cannot help but find solace in all of the ways Melissa will continue to live on through those she touched. Melissa's gift, bestowed upon all of us, was the empathetic way she connected with people. She gave her whole heart to each child, family, and colleague who came into her midst. Her mutual adoration for kids and families is unmatched. Any room (hallway, bathroom, library, playground) she entered (and she entered a lot of them!), she brought her bubbly sense of humor and enthusiastic personality. She had an innate intuition to care for children. She was a true beacon of love, light, acceptance, and kindness. Her spirit and aura provided kids with the comfort to be themselves and know they were loved.
The donations collected will be used to commemorate Melissa's memory, and help support her family through this time.
