Jason's Medical Expenses

Hello. My name is Scott Kiner, and I am fundraising for my little brother Jason's medical expenses. Truthfully, he and I have been very close since we were little kids. He is honest to a fault, kind-hearted, humble, funny, and just a wonderful person to be around! In short, I love my brother.

My brother Jason has been battling various medical issues over the past several years. He has been in a medical facility for the past ten months, including undergoing dialysis treatments three times a week. Unfortunately, culminating in early February of 2022, he had to have his lower left leg amputated due to diabetes.

This is a complicated, extremely emotional, and private matter for any family to try to cope with. My heart goes out to any family with a sick parent or sibling. Truly. It's challenging to say the least. But with faith, prayers and hard work on my brother's part, he was slowly beginning his journey to learn how to walk again with one leg.

However, just a few days before Thanksgiving of this year, we learned together as a family that Jason would now be without his other leg. My brother is now a double amputee. Yes, we are crushed and saddened as a family by this new reality. We are not wealthy people; we get by, and believe me, I would not even have the courage to set this campaign up unless my brother's need is dire.

But my brother Jason is much stronger than me. I hope whoever reads this takes a second to realize just how precious life is. And recognize that, unfortunately, a calamity can happen to anyone at any time in this day and age. And that's the truth. I sincerely believe there are still good people in this world who would be kind enough to donate to this cause, whatever your hearts deem appropriate.

Believe me when I say it is for a terrific reason. You will be helping someone who is genuinely in need of help. My brother Jason, the entire Kiner family, and I thank you.
