Heaven gained a Marine
Donation protected
While the community lost a beautiful soul , our country lost a U.S. Marine, one of our very own nurse friends lost her first born , her son , her pride and joy at the young age of only 23 years old.
Daris Patrick Fent left this world way too soon.
Daris was well known , loved singing loved playing the guitar , he simply loved life. He graduated from Southwestern High School, later joining the Marines where he obtained an injury treated with pain medications. We've all been there, Right ? However , this pain medication , once stopped, left him with an undesirable void . One he couldn't fill, one he tried to fight , but couldn't win. It lead him to a disease called an addiction. This addiction , later , fiercely took his life.
While none of us would be prepared , mentally , physically, or financially to sever the loss of a child in any way shape or form , it could happen to anyone of us reading this right now.
We are reaching out to friends, family and the community to help this Marines' mother, Melissa Dye , in covering the cost of unexpected bills and funeral expenses.
If you know Melissa , I'm sure you will agree , she has one of the most giving, compassionate , graceful hearts a human being could hold.
While she struggles to find her way through this life without her precious boy , our goal is to help her have one less struggle , financially, along the way.
Any amount you are willing or are capable of giving would be so greatly appreciated.
Please also join us in keeping her and her family showered in prayers.
