Displaced and Disabled due to Tornado
Donation protected
On August 25th my aunt Jackie’s whole world fell apart, literally. Several tornadoes touched down in Lansing, Michigan causing the roof to be torn from her dwelling and downpours of rain flooded her whole apartment. Being disabled, this caused a severe hardship as she is limited in her mobility due to MS and several back surgeries to correct her spine. The extreme damage to her dwelling caused her to lose her precious belongings and forced her out on the street. She is currently with limited funds, sheltering in a hotel, however, her temporary housing will end soon without support to find permanent shelter and the means to rebuild her life. After contacting all the disaster relief agencies she was turned down for help. Please find it in your heart to assist with rebuilding her life and her livelihood. Thank you and God Bless.
