For 25+ years now, I have been talking of doing a sky dive and just didnt get around to it.
Well, my lovely wife Lorraine took the bull by the horns and booked one for me (she told me her intentions were caring........I hope so!) and so on April 5th 2021 (COVID dependent) I shall be jumping out of a plane from about 10-12,000 feet, strapped to a complete stranger.
Crazy?
Probably but why not.
Anyway, I am hoping to raise money for MS Ireland Western Region, a charity very close to my heart and I'm looking for donations from any of my friends, relatives and colleagues etc...

I understand that these are very tough times for many of us financially but any amount would be greatly appreciated.
What is Multiple Sclerosis??
Many of us may have heard of MS but may not know exactly what it is.
Over 9000 people in Ireland alone are living with MS.
-What are the symptoms of MS?
People with MS experience a wide range of symptoms. Due to the nature of the disease, symptoms can vary widely from person to person.
They can also change in severity from year to year, month to month, and even day to day.
Two of the most common symptoms are fatigue and difficulty walking.
Fatigue
Around 80% of people with MS report having fatigue. Fatigue that occurs with MS can become debilitating, affecting your ability to work and perform everyday tasks.
Difficulty walking
Difficulty walking can occur with MS for a number of reasons:
- numbness in your legs or feet
- difficulty balancing
- muscle weakness
- muscle spasticity
- difficulty with vision
Difficulty walking can also lead to injuries due to falling.
Other symptoms
Other fairly common symptoms of MS include:
- acute or chronic pain
- tremor
- cognitive issues involving concentration, memory, and word-finding difficulty
-individual and family support
-living with MS programmes
-counselling
-Community Employment schemes
-financial assistance
-social events and activities
-numerous therapies
Please, PLEASE help with any amount you can.
Many thanks in advance.
