Help Jake On His Road To Recovery ❤️‍

Dear friends and supporters, Jake aka Jake The Snake Guy is in need of your help. Jake is a steadfast supporter of wildlife and nature. He has pursued his passion rescuing hurt and injured wildlife since he was a child. Rescuing an animal or capturing a snake for safe release nearby, Jake has passionately nurtured and preserved wildlife. He has given to his community, schools and neighborhoods by donating his time with wildlife presentations to children, adults, and dogs about the beauty and dangers of wildlife and how to stay safe.

On Labor Day, September 4, 2023, Jake had the misfortune of being bit by a rattlesnake and in ICU at UC Davis for several days. After intensive treatments it was declared he would need an amputation of his finger.

On October 17, 2023, at age 25, Jake’s finger was amputated. On this journey to recovery he will endure healing, physical therapy and rehabilitation. We are humbly requesting your donations to help cover his recovery, medical expenses and to help support him during what will likely be an extended recovery period as an amputee.
