3 days after creating this campaign, Myron passed away....7/4/18 around 8 pm...please any and all donations, shares and prayers deeply appreciated!!
On 5/28/2018 my husbands defibrillator shocked his heart at 5am, he was rushed to University Of Washington Medical Center, where he remained in CCU (cardiac critical unit) for 1 month. During this month I remained by his side, as his caregiver, also for emotional support, 24 hours a day. During his stay at the hospital he was supposed to have heart surgery, stay in the hospital for an addition 2-3 weeks, and come home, where then I would take on full 24/7 caregiving responsibility for a minimal of 3 months. The hospital installed an impella in one of his main arteries, which spun to fast, and worked too hard, cutting up all of his red blood cells and injuring his kidneys beyond repair, the doctors said dialysis wouldn't even work to reverse the damage done his kindeys. He has since been sent home on hospice care, where I am his full time caregiver until his passing over. Him and I have been together for 17 years, we have 2 beautiful daughters together. I will remain by his side every step of the way, till death do us part!
For the past 6 or 7 years I have been our families main provider, he was diagnosed with heart failure a few years back, causing him to be unable to work and provide for our family as well. Due to my income being the main income, we haven't been able to afford life insurance, due to all of us living check to check already barely making it. I am a manager with the company I am employed with, and have been with the company for almost 8 years, they recently placed me on FMLA so I can take the time away to put my families needs first. I have exhausted all of my vacation and personal day pay, and will not be receiving another check until I am able to return to work.
The reason I am asking for such of a high amount is for our bills, rent, food, and also burial and funeral expenses. Our family is not on any public assistance programs, and all of the money we did have was spent on rent, bills, and hospital expenses. I went to a morturary to obtain funeral and burial costs, which ran close to $10,000.00, our monthly rent is 1300, I need to pay 2 months worth, plus 2 months worth of bills, equaling about $14,000.00.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking time out of your day to read this. Any and every donation is deeply and greatly appreciated!!!! Be blessed, and enjoy your day.
Thank you
