Reagan-Wolfe Parkinson White Syndrome
This family are my next door neighbors. Reagan just had her 1 year birthday 3 months ago.
She was airlifted to Arkansas Children’s Hospital-Little Rock with serious breathing problems. Within a few hours the
family was told she had cardiomyopathy. The next day she had a procedure to eliminate an electrical current. They don’t
know the result yet. With that procedure and more tests they were told she had Wolfe Parkinson White Syndrome. This is very rare, 20k cases a year in the U.S. For those that don’t know, cardiomyopathy is a disease of the heart muscle. Wolfe
Parkinson White Syndrome is an electrical problem in the heart that causes rapid heartbeat, among several other
problems.
The family had no knowledge of a health issue with Reagan until this. I can’t imagine the road this tiny baby will have in her lifetime.
This family is top notch. Hard working and God fearing. They have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls.
The medical expenses, general expenses, travel (hospital is 4 hours, one way) and time not working is absolutely astronomical! Help is needed!
