Support Ukrainian Refugees in Poland

Hi Friends! My name is Szymon Elmore.

As some of you know, I'm from Poland, and I still have lots of relatives there. The war going on in Ukraine right now is devastating and lots of people, at this point over 1.5 million people, are fleeing Ukraine to Poland. It is tough to find housing in Poland right now and lots of regular citizens have opened up their homes to these Ukrainian families in need. My family living in Wiciejow, Poland has opened up their homes graciously to several Ukrainian families in need.

Over the last few days I was able to help a family with a hotel room and my family was able to pick that family up eventually. In the previous two weeks and in the near future my family is hosting 18 people including several young children between several homes. Although the Polish government is kicking in benefits eventually to help these people, that can take some time.

Any little bit helps if you can donate anything. These funds will get transferred to Poland in the next few days and that money will then get disbursed in cash directly to help these Ukrainian families.
