Hello! My name is Eric and I am not really sure what to write here. Oh, and the cute gal in my picture is my pup P-nut. In 2022, I was diagnosed with end-stage renal failure. I started emergency dialysis as my condition deteriorated extremely quickly in January of 2022. 2022 was not a good year for me and my family. After I was diagnosed with ESRD, my older brother soon passed away from a heart attack. I moved back in with my mom as she was alone at the time, and I wanted to be close to family in case anything happened.

I am listed for a transplant at St. Joseph Medical Center in Orange, CA. I'm creating this GoFundMe to help pay for medical expenses and create outreach for a living donor. I am not currently working due to issues with my body, dialysis, and schedule. So, I am paying whatever is not covered by Medicaid out of pocket right now. These expenses can add up to over $1200 a month, so this GoFundMe could help cover a few months' expenses and, if I get a kidney donation, could help cover the costs associated with the transplant and after-transplant care.

I'm not normally someone that asks for a lot of help. But recently, things have been reaching a point where I'm not sure what to do now. Medical bills are increasing after losing my insurance from my job. I appreciate any help you may be able to provide. Peace and love to everyone.
