Last September 2020, during the midst of a global pandemic, Kathy, at 43 years old, was diagnosed with an Invasive and aggressive Her Two Positive (Breast Cancer). The shock of this devastating news is made more complicated as Kathy’s mother in law is also battling Cancer. The news not only devested those closest to her but her whole community of friends and extended friends.
To support Kathy and her family, we are starting a GoFundMe campaign for Kathy, Kris (husband) and their family.
Kathy has completed a debilitating 17 rounds of chemotherapy, but her journey does not end there. This week Kathy has undergone an invasive surgery and is currently recovering. The recovery period is approximately 8 weeks. Once she is recovered from surgery, Kathy then will need to undergo 25 rounds of radiation and finally at least two more surgeries that are necessary. As you can see there is a long journey ahead for Kathy, Kris and their family.
Throughout all of this, Kathy has remained positive, determined, strong, and concerned for the wellbeing of her children Michael (16) and Karina (10). Cancer treatment often comes with not only a physical, emotional burden but also a financial one. Please donate if you are able, any amount is so appreciated and helps! If you are unable to contribute financially, we would appreciate your support by sharing this campaign with others through social media and/or word of mouth.
