Jorge Rodriguez — my best friend, my hero, my Papa.

He was a man defined by kindness, love, and generosity. Everywhere he went, he brought warmth and a smile to those around him. Many of you knew him as Grandpa Jorge — a title he wore proudly. He had an especially big heart for children and was deeply loved by so many.

Though my Papa faced several medical challenges, most people would never have known. His stubborn determination to truly live life was inspiring, and his strength carried him through more than many realized. He was not only a great man, but a devoted father and an incredible grandfather.

We are heartbroken and struggling to find the right words as we mourn his sudden passing. This loss came as a shock, especially as we were making meaningful progress toward improving his health. Our family is navigating an incredibly difficult time, and we ask for your thoughts and prayers as we grieve and begin to heal.
