Nick Thielk's Heart Transplant

This Go Fund Me page is made available on behalf of friends who have known the Thielk family for decades. They are an incredibly hard-working, independent, and strong family deeply respected by the people who know and love them.

Lisa and Mike Thielk are the loving and devoted parents to three sons, who are the closest of brothers. The oldest brother, Nick, has been admirably managing heart failure due to a genetic condition for the past six years. He follows the strictest health and lifestyle guidelines to be described by his doctors as their “best patient ever.” Despite his condition, he worked full-time, helping others in their time of need after a crisis through his work and dedication at ALE Solutions.

Nick and Katie married in 2017, after Nick’s diagnosis, and the speeches, love, and admiration at their wedding were overwhelming and visibly moving to all who were there.

Nick has recently been diagnosed with end-stage heart failure, and at age 29, will have to undergo heart transplant surgery. However, the medical costs and worry should not have to be endured alone to a young couple at the beginning of their lives together, and this hard-working family.

This Go Fund Me raises funds to help with Nick’s health insurance and medical costs associated with his heart transplant surgery and recovery.

I know that Nick, Katie, and the Thielk family would never ask for this financial support, but it can be a tremendous support to them, and that they will be very grateful for any donations made. They would also be very grateful to anyone who will keep them in their thoughts and their prayers.
