We are heartbroken to share the news of the passing of our cherished family member, Jesus Fuentes. He was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend who brought so much light, love, and laughter into the lives of everyone around him. He leaves behind his wife, three children, and two grandchildren.

Chuy, as we all knew him, faced a difficult battle with stage 4 prostate cancer. He faced his initial diagnosis in October of 2022 with the utmost strength, resiliency, and positivity. He was committed to not letting this disease prevent him from doing what he loved most: working in the construction field, tending to his garden, traveling to his beloved Comala, Colima, and cooking his traditional meals. 

In October of 2024, the cancer rapidly progressed, spreading to his bones and eventually to his brain. He faced two separate hospitalizations within the last two months, eventually leading to the intensive care unit. After a courageous and exhausting fight, he finally found peace on December 6th, 2024. Four days after his passing, his mother, Esther Fuentes Ceballos, joined her beloved Chuy after being hospitalized in intensive care for weeks as well.

During this incredibly difficult time, we are reaching out for support to help his family cover the unexpected funeral expenses and other needs that have arisen.
