Bee Inspired for Mary Ann Sherman

Mary Ann was diagnosed with leukemia in May. She has already spent 60 days at Strong Memorial Cancer Center and still has more days in the near future. 

After 3 months of high powered chemotherapy, she is in remission. However, she needs a bone marrow transplant to replace the blood cells that were destroyed in the chemo treatments. 

According to the American Cancer Society, “a transplant is still considered experimental for many types of cancer, so insurance might not cover the cost. Stem cell transplants cost a lot — some estimates say $350,000 to $800,000.”  Mary Ann is a candidate for a stem cell transplant, scheduled for late in September. 

Her friends and her All Saints preschool community have come together to do what we can to help her financially and spiritually. We want this GOFUNDME campaign to alleviate her burden of the medical bills.
