Hello Everyone,

For those who don't know me, my name is Chris. I'm 26 years old from California and I'm raising money to get dental work done, let me tell you a little about why and how things happened.

Growing up my parents were never strict on taking care of my teeth, brushing, flossing, etc. I should of thought to myself I need to brush and floss everyday, but as a kid that was the last thing that crossed my mind. Now I'm paying the price for it. I have always had problems with my mouth weather it be a cavity, needing a root canal, as well as extracting teeth. Never being able to smile, being able to talk to people face to face without feeling like their judging me, or even talking in general. I've had mouth pain for roughly 8 years or so, I'm so used to it know that I just block it out and don't think about it. I'm tired of these things and want to finally know what it's like to be normal. I will list below the things I have done and things that need to be done.

                                       Teeth I've had pulled:

 - Tooth 29,30,31,32 pulled due to being broken and decayed.

- Tooth 17,18,19 pulled due to being broken and decayed.

      Teeth that need to be pulled:

Tooth 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,21,28

Procedures that I'm getting done:

Full upper denture.

Partial bottom denture.

6 fillings.

17 teeth extracted.






As of today 08/01/2019 I have 6 good teeth in my mouth on the bottom row. They need fillings and possibly more work done as well but they can be saved. I have not been able to smile since the 7th grade. When I talk to people I usually put my head down or look away so they don't stare at me, often times I mumble so I don't have to open my mouth all the way due to being so embarrassed.  If I laugh, I cover my mouth or pull my shirt up over so no one sees. The people who know me know these things, and I thank them for not judging me based on my situation. I have a gorgeous, incredible girlfriend who I don't deserve that loves me more than anything and accepts me for who I am and not what I look like. Shes my savior and words will never be able to describe how much she means and all the support she gives me in times like this. I'm willing to take pictures of my mouth so everyone can see, but please keep in mind it's not going to be pretty and might gross some people out. 


The procedures I currently need done are 17 teeth pulled, 6 fillings/possibly more work, mold of my mouth for full upper dentures as well as a partial bottom denture. The cost so far is 2,630, just for the dentures to be made. In about 6 to 12 months I will have to go back and get my mouth remolded to make a new denture once my gums have set and are in their final form. Pricing on pulling the teeth, depending on how impacted or broken they are range from 100-250$, as well as the anesthesia for preforming the extractions is not cheap. I will attach both dental forms I have with the pricing as well as the teeth that need extraction. 

I would just like to feel normal again and be happy with myself and the way I look. Thank you to everyone who took the time to read through this. It means a lot to me, this is something I do not like talking about but I need to find the little confidence I have left to get my message out there.
