Help David beat cancer

Dear family, friends, and supporters,
On November 27, 2023, I met the absolute love of my life—my soulmate. The year 2025 was supposed to be one of the most exciting years of our lives. We had recently bought a house, got married, and were eager to start a beautiful future together.
But less than 30 days after our wedding, our world was turned upside down. My husband, David, was diagnosed with Stage 2 squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue. The emotions and challenges we have faced during this journey have been truly unimaginable.
In early January, David underwent an intense and invasive surgery to remove the tumor. He had part of his tongue removed, a flap placed, and a full right-side neck dissection of four layers of lymph nodes. Recovery was grueling, but like the fighter he is, he pushed through. Unfortunately, the surgical pathology results showed that he will also need radiation. Oral radiation is extremely intense, bringing painful side effects and potential lifelong challenges. But again, like the warrior he is, he is ready to face this battle head-on.
Throughout this journey, David has done everything in his power to help his body fight. He has completely changed his diet to an anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory plan and incorporated alternative treatments to strengthen his body, reduce side effects, and decrease the chances of recurrence.
However, the financial burden has been overwhelming. The medical bills, specialized groceries, and alternative treatments are extremely costly. With David being the primary provider for our family, the uncertainty of how long he will be out of work during radiation is terrifying. We have already had to take significant time off for appointments and hospital stays, and we know there is still a long road ahead.
We are asking for support in any way you can—whether that is emotional support, sharing our story with friends and family who may be able to help in any way, donations, or keeping us in your prayers. Every bit of help, no matter how small, makes a difference in this fight.
From the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate any support you can provide. Please keep David in your thoughts and prayers as he continues this battle.
With love and gratitude,
