Support Toya's Healing Journey
Donation protected
For over 30 years, Latoya — known to many as "Toya" or "Mizfit" — has poured her heart into helping others feel beautiful, loved, and seen. From styling generations of families to mentoring the youth and supporting church and community events across Central Texas, she’s always been more than just a stylist. She’s been a mother to many, someone to confide in, and a loyal friend to neighbors and clients alike.
Now, she needs our support.
After years of standing behind the chair, Toya’s body could no longer manage the pain. She recently underwent back surgery to repair damage caused by decades of manual labor — all while managing Lupus, a condition that she has quietly battled with grace and strength.
Toya will be out of work for the next 2–5 months while she heals. As a self-employed cosmetologist, this means no income during her recovery. We are asking for your help to raise $6,000 to cover her housing and medical-related expenses during this critical time of rest and restoration.
Why This Matters:
Whether you’ve sat in her chair, laughed with her at a community event, or simply felt the warmth of her smile — you know Toya’s presence is a blessing. This is our chance to give that love back.
Every donation — big or small — helps ease the burden and gives Toya space to focus on her health. I personally would like to say thank you to anyone who has, will, and considered making sure my mother is able to take a moment and breathe before getting back to her best self.
Sincerely,
Her eldest son
