REACH for Nepal Foundation has been working in the Dangling village for several years, assisting in rebuilding classrooms at the Sishukalyan Janapriya School. The school was badly damaged by the 2015 earthquake and the community still needs our urgent help help, especially in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Over the past 2 years our efforts in Nepal have been extremely hampered because of the pandemic, but with the next and final stage of the school rebuilding project, we are determined with your help, to bring the construction of two additional classrooms to fruition – allowing all 80 students to be educated in safe and waterproof accommodation.
In addition, there is a need to install a school water filtration system to provide clean drinking water, renovate existing facilities, provide school furniture and education resources. It’s an ambitious project, but we believe our REACH for Nepal community of supporters can make it a reality.
Every dollar donated is spent in Nepal, and because the Foundation is entirely volunteer-run, there are no commissions or overheads.
Help this vulnerable community rebuild their classrooms with a tax-deductible donation above $2.
