Raising Money to Feed Those in Our Community
Donation protected
My name is Michael Gropper, and am a veteran who owns and operates a food truck called Full Battle Rattle Deli. The food truck is not only a food truck, but a social enterprise and a vehicle for change. Our goal is to support homeless veterans or that are in transition with culinary arts training while serving amazing Brooklyn style sandwiches. The core of what we do is to serve others. However, as a result of the present economic situation due to COVID-19, our business has suffered finical, but we still have the ability to help others and continue our mission to serve.
As a result of the present pandemic, we have shifted our mission to support those in our community (Denver - TriCounty) who are suffering from food scarcity due to being unemployed, struggling economically, homeless, elderly, or anyone that needs a meal brought to them. Having a food truck, we can reach these people and both support and help them through these difficult times. Since we have limited finical resources due to the loss of business, we need your help to purchase the food needed to aid those in our community. All money raised will go to purchase the food, serving trays/utensils (and anything else needed to serve what is being offered), as well as gas and propane to operate the food truck. If there is any money left over, after we overcame this pandemic will give it back to local community organizations. Our goal is to give back to the community and take care of each other.
If you would like to volunteer (preparing food and hanging out in a food truck, which is a lot of fun), or help us in supporting this endeavor, please donate. Also, if you know of a community in need, a local organization we can partner with (it takes a village to move a mountain) or individuals that require our support; please let me know.
The goal is to start providing meals on 4/17, so let’s make's this happen.
Remember, we maybe 6 ft apart, but we are still connected to each other and one big family...
Why this song... Because it is about time. How are you going to play this game called life; alone or together?
In gratitude
