Hi Everyone, I'm Mindy, the mom in this fight for my son's life, and this 22-year-old young man is Edgar, my youngest. On July 7th, 2025, after a visit for a bump on his neck to a walk-in clinic, we got a call with a diagnosis of Aggressive Acute T Cell Lymphoma Leukemia. The news not only scared us but also left us with lots of questions about what to do. How did this happen and why... Now we are in the fight of our lives. For his life.

We drove to Roswell Cancer Center in Buffalo. They admitted him immediately and let us know they needed to act quickly due to how aggressive and fast this happened. He wasn't sick or anything. No warning. They found it in his neck and lower abdomen. We remained there, hours from home, for almost 2 months before being able to get back closer to home.

Roswell is still in charge of his treatments, but we get them at a local Corning hospital now. His chemo plan so far will be into next year. They cannot get him out of day-to-day treatment. He gets weekly blood and platelet transfusions. His counts just aren't coming up. He also needs treatments at another hospital for LP to start again soon. Both he and I have been taken out of work for his care and inpatient treatments. His severe neutropenia has to be watched so carefully to keep him safe. I have gotten him SSI, which will begin in February. Travel, car breakdowns, rent, and daily monthly bills are all a struggle for us right now.

A GoFundMe was set up in I'm asking for anything you're willing to do for us. It's becoming too much for me on my own. No donation is too small, or if you'll please consider sharing this GoFundMe, it will help us out to reach so many. Thank each and every one of you for your love and support. Keep my son in your prayers as I know many of you do.
Thank you, my friends, for all your love and support. His next phase has just begun it will be 8 weeks of Chemo..Lp between 3 hospitals Corning Robert Packer and Roswell Cancer Center. He is being treated with a Pediatric which is quite more Intense due to his Age.
