In December of 2014 Nina was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. She had been battling back pain for months and had been in and out of the doctors. It wasnt until the doctors scheduled an MRI that they found spots on her liver. With that discovery they scheduled a CT scan which revealed tumors in her colon, ovaries, liver, spine and lungs. She has since started chemotherapy and will undergo radiation on her spine in the future. Nina is employed by the USPS and since she is a "sub" at her station she receives NO benefits. No PTO... No FMLA and because of this since she was admitted into the hospital she has not been able to work and therefore has no money coming in. We are trying to help Nina be able to keep her home and take away some of the stress while she battles this. We want her to be able to focus on her health and not the other stresses of life. She has enough on her plate and we just want to make sure she can pay her bills. Nina has a huge heart and is one of the strongest people I know. I also know that by helping to relieve some of her stress she will be even stronger as she fight this battle. Please help Nina in anyway you can. Every little bit helps. Thanks!!
