Why contribute?

 

Every student at Lincoln Middle School (LMS) has access to award-winning, free, public music education through the school's longstanding Band & Orchestra program. Regardless of experience, skill, or ability to pay, all students are welcome to join LMS Band or Orchestra and are taught "from scratch" to read music and perform at a concert level.

 

This year, LMS Instrumental Music Director, Mr. Todd Eckstein, was voted the Alachua County Teacher of the year. He has taught at Lincoln Middle School for the past 15 years, and his bands and ensembles have won numerous state and national awards.

 

This fund allows parents, grandparents, or any friend or graduate of Lincoln Middle School to support its Band & Orchestra program directly.

 

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to music education - not just for your student - but for all students at Lincoln, including those who may not have the chance to learn an instrument without access to this school program. Musical instruments are expensive to purchase and upkeep, and these funds will provide critical support to LMS Music.
