Hi! As many of you know 13 days ago my dad had a brutal accident falling 12 ft from a roof he was working on. He fell onto uneven frozen ground still wearing his tool belt knocking him unconscious and unable to move when he gained consciousness again. Immediately they transported him to St Joseph’s in Lewiston,ID and X-rays showed he had 3 fractured vertebrates on his lower back, 1 broken rib, left arm broken, all ligaments torn in his right pelvis and most of them on the left side. They life flighted him to Sacred Heart in Spokane for surgery required for his arm and pelvis. Day 10 he was transferred to St Luke’s Rehab in Spokane where he’s currently at getting intense Physical Therapy so he can get home as soon as possible. He’s expected to make a full recovery but it could be a few months till he’s walking again.

My parents do have health insurance that will cover majority of these large expenses they have/are incurring but there’s always expenses that aren’t. Large deductible, wheelchair, income loss etc.
