Hello my name is Mari Castaneda I am trying to help my older sister that was just hit by a vehicle. She is an amazing mother to my nephews and niece Jake, Jaden, and Angelina. She was unfortunately ran over last night in the corner of Bixel in Down Town Los Angeles. She was on her way to the store by foot when someone took a left turn while she was crossing the street and hit her from behind. Thank God that she is still with us She got stitches behind her head and suffered 2 seizures and bruising around her body. Her main concern is that she won’t be able to pay her bills and rent because she needs to take time off from work to recover. The person who was driving the car did not have car insurance nor was he the owner of the car. LAPD basically said there was nothing she can do to get compensation since he didn’t have car insurance…

We are in the process of looking for resources but the last thing I want her to do is worry about how she will pay the bills. Anything will help her family during this time we will truly appreciate any donation.
