Dear Family and Friends

I am asking for financial help for an upcoming Endometriosis Surgery on September 18. After 2 years or so, I have been in and out of the doctors office's for abdominal and pelvic pain. After numerouse blood tests, scans, and visits with gastrointerologists and pelvic pain specialist as far away as utah, we have not been able to find any conclusive answers. Eventually my doctors suspected that I have Endometriosis. After learning this, I found an endometriosis specialist in Utah. After several phone appointments and a 2 hour in person visit, he strongly believes I am indeed struggling with the disease. He believes I have likely had it for years based of the severity of my symptoms and where they are presenting themselves. Luckily, based on an ultrasound, he believes that I only have the early stages which hopefuly means I dont have too much damage to my organs and reproductive system. The only way to get a conclusive diagnosis is through laproscopic surgery to view it first hand and remove it through excision surgery. 

Endometriosis is a common illness that can range widely in severity. Endometriosis is where tussue, similar to the tissue that grows on the inside of the uterus, grows outside the uterus anywhere from the bowel, bladder, ovaries, all the way up into the diaphram in some cases. Like the uterus, this tissue follows a womans period cycle and becomes inflamed and will bleed. These growths can cause adhesions amongst organs, and scaring inside the abdomen. Endometriosis can cause infirtility, so early detection can be crucial if I want to have a family someday. 

The donation money would be going towards the surgery itself and to help cover the cost of bills while I am out of work. The recovery time is undetermined until my surgery is complete, but could be as long as 6 weeks. 

My dad and Elijah have stepped up and taken on the financial roles for a while but I am hoping with the help of the family, the cost of this surgery and time out of work won't have to rest solely on them.
