Unexpected tragedy
Donation protected
Hello, everyone! I am fundraising for Ginny and Richard Vogler. He is my biological uncle and he died unexpectedly this week.
He has not been doing well for a while and started having seizures and took a fall. He broke his back and he had a surgery a few weeks ago to fix it. The pain continued to be out of control so they went to the hospital to try and figure out why it was still so awful and then received the news last Wednesday that he had stage four liver cancer and stage four liver cirrhosis. We were all shocked. He was going to see the oncologist this week and it never happened because he didn’t make it. He was told he had six months to a year.
I spoke to him three nights ago for almost 45 min and we talked about all the things we would do together. He sounded tired but seemed to be managing the pain. The next morning I got the call that he was hospitalized and he passed away that night.
Ginny has had tremendous health issues which have kept her from a full time job for a few years and then Richard became I’ll as well. She is now unexpectedly forced to figure all of it out and there was not really a clear will. Funds and assets that presently exist will be tied up in probate.
They don’t have much family so I ask if you can even donate five dollars, it will make a difference. If you feel inclined to share this post, that also is a contribution. I feel called to help by reaching out to the world on their behalf. I love them and Ginny is very scared and very alone right now and it is a lot. She just wants to be able to pay her mortgage and put Richard to rest in a way to honor his life. He leaves behind two men; Colton and Ryan. Everyone is very shocked if this news and Ginny just needs a step up on a long road ahead of her. She will be selling a lot of the contents of her home in Austin to downsize so if you are looking for something, PM her. Thanks in advance for any contribution. Sincerely, Elisa
