Our Journey began January 31st @1am in the morning when the doctor walked in and said “I am so sorry but you have cancer” It was at that moment when it felt like all air had left your lungs and in that split second our life was flipped upside down! Michael has been experiencing some health issues in the last few months and we went into the emergency room thinking that he had detached retina but walked out with a completely different diagnosis. We are currently waiting to hear exactly what type of cancer we are dealing with but we know that it has metastasized into his lungs, liver, pancreas, spine, and eye. One thing we know is our God is bigger than this mountain that’s in front of us and we have HOPE and FAITH in our creator who created Michael and knit him perfectly and cancer wasn’t a part of that process! We are currently praying for a strategy and treatment plan that will be the right one for him but with that comes a financial aspect that we have to face.
