Empower Indigenous Artists with Б'Art Contemporary
Donation protected
We are raising funds to support Б’Art Contemporary’s Nomadic Art Camp Residency in Kyrgyzstan. Founded in 2007 by multidisciplinary Kyrgyz artist Shaarbek Amankul, Б'Art Contemporary has championed both contemporary and traditional Kyrgyz arts in Central Asia. Through its annual Nomadic Art Camp, Б'Art has created meaningful connections between local artists and their international counterparts.
In 2024, Б’Art Contemporary launched a groundbreaking collaboration by inviting Native American and Native Hawaiian artists to participate in the residency—marking the first curated residency of its kind. During this 10-day immersive experience, Indigenous artists were deeply engaged with Kyrgyz lands, culture, and communities, fostering cross-cultural exchange and artistic growth.
We’re committed to supporting Б’Art’s mission to continue this vital work, and we need your help. Your donation will enable more Indigenous artists, culture bearers, curators, and art critics to participate in future residencies, ensuring that this enriching cultural exchange continues to thrive. Together, we can sustain Б’Art’s vision of fostering respectful and lasting relationships between Indigenous peoples and Kyrgyz communities.
Thank you for your generosity in making this vision possible!
