Happy Easter, want to thank everyone and keep you updated Patti leaves Tuesday till Friday to go to Georgia for treatment again. The joy is in the journey.   Hi, Im Patricia's other half,I am trying to raise money for her to get thru this frighting life altering experience. As many of you know Patricia is a strong ,kind ,wonderful woman, who is loyal and has a heart of gold. I have been blessed to have her in my life since we were twelve . I have watched for go thru some diffcult life challanges one being Breast Cancer and now eight years later stage four lung cancer which began back in September from a cat bite.She was bitten by a cat due to trying to save her of course and was hospitilized for a week going thru rabbie shots ,antibotics xrays and what ever else they did. Five weeks after being discharged she was reading the paperwork and it stated she had several moldules on her lungs,she was never told she read it herself,i cant imagine how she felt reading that. She call her doctor was sent in for a scan and was told the cancer is back. The doctors here where it felt to us heartless,"Im going on vacation go get a port put in and start your chemo I will be back in ten days see you when I return"
I said oh hell no and call the Cancer Treatment center my insurance only will pay for the one in Alanta Georgia so thats were we took off to.After spending four days with them we found out she has stage four lung cancer. They have been amazing and give Patricia all the care she will need to beat this.Several diffrent types of therapies to address all areas and family support as well. When she began treatment after three times she began to fall down and they had to stop some of the meds and could only keep her maintaining. At that time she was going every three weeks now she is on a new plan and she goes to Alanta once a week. I dont know if you can see the strain on all areas of her life but this is a tring time. At this time Patricia is unable to work and those that know her can only imagine how thats going. It is amazing to me how she still is there for me ,my ninity year old mother and my daughter who just turned thirteen.There are several things the money will be used for transportation, supplements,medications,special foods that she must now eat, and therapies here in N.Y when she is home. I have seen so many blessings  during this time from people, that I am overwhelmed by the support. Our family is very grestful for our friends and people that have been so kind to us during this tring time. We are Patti # Strong and thankful to you all for your support.
