Larry Hyland's Medical Fund
Donation protected
Larry Hyland, class of 71 Titan, was selflessly helping a neighbor move a heavy piece of furniture down a stairway and fell backwards, landing on tile. He fractured his pelvis, “blew out” his hip joint, and his hip bone dislocated into the pelvis area. He was in surgery for seven hours on Friday to repair the damage with plates and pins. He will not be able to put any weight on that leg for 90 days and may not be able to walk normally for nine months to a year. He is facing a long recovery including months of physical therapy and rehab. More than ever, Larry and Nancy need our support physically, spiritually and financially. So please spread the word far and wide for Larry. The days ahead will be difficult and I am hoping that a small bright spot can be the result of this fund. The generosity of Titans in the past has always been amazing and any contribution over the coming weeks will help to lift some of the monetary worries for Larry and Nancy.
Please help Larry move through this difficult time and talk to your higher power about aiding him in his recovery.
