Surgery for my dog

My dog, Omi, has 4 slipped discs and needs IVDD surgery. I’ve spoken to a few places and the the total costs including an MRI and the actual surgery will be around $10k to 12k. I’ve already spent $1,500 on X-rays, vet bills and meds. She is taking meds around the clock but she is still in pain. She is such a vibrant, gentle, sweet little girl who has a lot of life left in her. I’ve never done a fundraiser before and don’t like asking for money but she’s special. UPDATE: Omi had surgery but it’s looking like there’s a large possibility she will need a second surgery as the first one doesn’t seem to have fixed the issue. Up to this point it has cost over $12k (this is including every vet visit since the injury was first discovered and the cost of medicine). We were approved for care credit for $8k, which is a credit card used for medical purposes. I believe the first 6 months is interest free and after that it’s 30% interest. The surgeon said he would give us a discount for the second surgery but did not give us a quote yet. I will update once he does. Even with care credit I can’t afford this. But she’s such a little fighter and has SO much spirit. I can’t with good conscience put her to sleep. But I will also not allow her to suffer.
