Our beloved Kian passed away on September 22, 2022. Kian was a dedicated husband, father and a cherished friend. He enjoyed many friendships, some lasting over 40+ years. He had a way to befriend just about anyone he met. His smile was infectious and he had a terrific sense of humor. He worked extremely hard to provide for his family and loved them more than anything. With a demanding job, he traveled a ton, but always made time to make memories with them. He leaves behind his wife of 33 years Shari, and two daughters, Natalie and Claire.

In his early 30’s, Kian was hospitalized and nearly lost his life before being diagnosed with an autoimmune deficiency. Over the next 24 years, he was given weekly infusions to protect his health but was also diagnosed with various other illnesses and complications along the way.

The last two and a half years were especially challenging for Kian, Shari, Natalie and Claire. His overall health began to deteriorate and he slowly lost mobility, cognitive abilities, and frequented doctors offices and hospitals often. Eventually, it was determined he was unable to work and was placed on disability. Financial strain ensued as Kian had been the sole provider for the family. Shari was unable to work due to him needing round-the-clock care.

We would like to collect donations to help alleviate the financial burden. Your donations will help allow his family to sustain while focusing on grieving the loss of their precious husband and father as they begin preparing for a new chapter without him. In lieu of flowers, they ask that you please donate to our fundraiser if able or willing to do so.

Based on medical bills, cost of a service in Los Angeles, they have set a fundraiser goal of $35,000. They hope to reach this goal by November 19, 2022.
