THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME!

Hello, I’m Rosalind Harris and this is my devastating financial story. I used to live in this little house on a prairie in Belmont, North Carolina where the main water line from the meter to my house broke. Months passed without noticing it until I got a huge water bill! Long story short, I endured the financial obligation of having the thousands of dollars in the water bill expense and water lined repair (the line break was on my side of the meter). This flooding underneath my house caused mold and decay of my sub-flooring. I hired a contractor who promised to complete the job in approximately 4-6 weeks. Well, eight months has now passed and the job has not been completed and floors were left open with trash and debris scattered in the inside as well as outside of my home. I ended up falling through to underneath to the ground and severely fractured my ankle in two different places causing me to have four screws, a cadaver bone and part of my shin bone removed to my ankle to fix. I spent two weeks in the hospital and time in rehabilitation learning how to walk again. The contractor refuses to answer my calls for months and has left me homeless. I’m now in the process of having a reputable contractor complete the unfinished job only to discover that the former contractor's work would not pass inspection and would have to be demolished and redone! I've been a very proud and independent single mother most of my life; but now I realize... I have not, because I ask not (Matthew 7:7-8). I REALLY COULD USE YOUR HELP IN PAYING THIS NEW EXPENSE.
