Help Rich Kientz Beat Cancer

This campaign is raising money to help Rich bridge a financial gap while facing a fight that no family should have to face. 

A little over a month ago, our dear friend (father, brother, son, teacher, muse, compass) was diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer. 

Immediate family, friends, and neighbors have been gracious in helping with some of the daily grind we all quite frankly take for granted (meal preparation, house/yard cleaning, kid shuttling, and simply allowing them to spend quality time together). 

We’re asking for your help and support.

This battle is not only taking a physical, emotional and psychological toll, but the reality is that there is a significant financial burden to fighting cancer. Rich’s sick time, short-term disability coverage and benefits will help sustain the fight in 2022; but, early next year the challenges will become a burden as many of his current benefits will begin to lapse/run out. Beyond just the daily costs of living, the out-of-pocket costs of care continue to grow. Not many people talk about this part of the fight, but it is just as real.
