on December 16th 2014 our good friends experienced something that every parent fears. Their 7 year old little girl Ava Jo Broeker was hit by a car walking home from school. She sustained a broken arm, broken leg, and a skull fracture. She is currently still in the ICU at Blank Children's Hospital at Methodist. The doctors are optimistic about her recovery and are blown away by how's she recovering considering how hard she was hit. They can't believe what a strong little girl Ava Jo is, which is no surprise to her family and friends of course. Ava Jo is quite a special little girl to her community. She's so full of life. Ava Jo also has a little sister named Norah who is 1 and a half years old who she absolutely adores and loves. Ava Jo has some very hardworking parents who just purchased their first house three weeks ago. So with Christmas being here and everyday living expenses and what just happened to Ava Jo, as good family friends, we ask for anything you can give. Whether its thoughts and prayers or a card to make Ava Jo feel better or gas cards and of course a donation to her fund would be greatly appreciated. Although her parents have never asked nor needed help, Ava Jo has a good month left in the hospital the doctors say. She will need months of therapy and will require full time care. So we ask for a smooth and successful recovery. Merry Christmas and and thank you so much to all that can help and it will never be forgotten.
