Donations for Dan!

Hello my name is Shannon Aguilar and my cousin is LT Dan Bellinger, of Garden Ridge Police Department. In 2017, we were in shock when diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer at the age of 39 years. Six years ago, Dan had 60% of his colon removed and given a 9% prognosis of being alive in 5 years. Dan has been fighting for six years and his journey is one of God’s miracles. It is true No One Fights Alone! His diagnosis has affected me personally, since we are only one year apart and I lost my dad to colon cancer in September 2022.

In April, we were truly blessed when Dan had the opportunity to undergo debulking cancer surgery. About 130 tumors were removed from 9 different organs by a team of incredible doctors. Those tumors are being studied to hopefully help others. Dan has had a couple setbacks but continues to recover in the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

We appreciate any donation that will go towards medical expenses, loss of wages and future treatments.
